Day One

03:30H - ETD. First Trip Victory Liner Caloocan Station (You can also check the first trip at Victory Liner Pasay Station)
06:30H - ETA. Victory Liner Olongapo Station. Breakfast at Chowking/Jolibee. Buy Pack lunch. Take a Jeep going to Subic Market.
07:30H - ETD. Olongapo - Subic Market
08:00H - Subic Market. Get tricycle from Subic Market to Cawag Resettlement. Huling sementadong daan.
08:30H - ETA Cawag Resettlement. Dulo. (Jump Off)
08:45H - Start Trek. Visit Aeta's Chieftain. Give the Chieftain a copy of your permit. You can get Guides at the Chieftain's House. If Chieftain is not available, find Binggoy. His house is at the back of Chieftain's House.
09:00H - Start Trek
12:00H - Lunch time - Old Tamayo's Place or you can go to the nearest river after Old Tamayo's Place
13:00H - Resume Trek
16:30H - Campsite. Leave your things at the Campsite. Assault to one of the peaks of Mt Cinco Picos. (I call it Gandhi's Peak)
17:00H - First Peak (Gandhi's Peak). Picture Taking.
17:45H - Descent. Back to campsite.
18:30H - Prepare dinner. Dinner.
20:00H - Socials
22:00H - Lights Out

Day Two

05:30H - Wake-up call.
06:00H - Prepare Breakfast. Breakfast.
08:00H - Break Camp
08:30H - Start descend
12:00H - Lunch time. River near Old Tamayo's Place
13:00H - Resume Trek
15:00H - Wash-up Big River or you can go directly to Jump-Off.
16:30H - ETD. Take a walk from Jump-Off to Cawag Resettlement.
17:00H - Get tricycle going to Subic Market.
17:30H - ETA. Subic Market. Take a Jeep going to Olongapo City.
18:00H - ETA. Olongapo City. Get your bus ticket at Victory Station.
21:00H - ETA. Manila. Home Sweet Home.

Things to Consider:
1. Permit or Letter of Intent that you'll hike the said mountain and should be given the copies to the following authorities: Municipal Mayor, Police Station and Chieftain.
2. You should provide food and shelter to the Guides.

Dont Forget The Following:
1. Identification Card
2. Permit or Letter of Intent
3. Umbrella
4. Off-Lotion or Mosquito Repellant Lotion
5. Head Lamp or Lantern
6. Additional Tent for the Guides.
7. Other important mountaineering stuff.

Expenses:

  • Victory Liner from Caloocan/Pasay to Olongapo
  • Individual Jeepney Fare from Olongapo to Subic Market - PHP 15.00
  • Fare from Subic Market to Last cemented Road going to Jump-Off - PHP 140.00 per tricycle
  • Guide Fee - ranging from PHP 500.00 up to PHP 600.00 per Guide for two days. The fee is still an issue since before mountaineers can get their Guide at PHP 300.00 for two days. I still havent talk to Chieftain since most of the time he is not available.
  • Fare from Cawag Resettle to Subic Market - PHP 100.00 per tricycle
  • Individual Jeepney Fare from Subic Market to Olongapo - PHP 15.00
  • Victory Liner from Olongapo to Manila
