 At the age of two, he already hiked Mt Gulogud Baboy Traverse, Mt Daguldol and went to Sagada. At the age of three, he was able to traverse Bundok Pico De Loro and at five, he summitted Mt Pulag, together with his father and SPi Mountaineers via Ambangeg-Ambangeg trail. Mt Pulag is the Luzon's highest mountain on which it stands 2,930 meter (9,613 feet) above sea level. Daniel Luis is the son of Danilo and Lily Macayan.
